Chief Philip Ndubuisi Umeh is a prominent figure in the international legal arena, celebrated for his remarkable career achievements and unwavering commitment to the field. Born in Enugu, Nigeria, on July 26, 1960, he embarked on his educational journey with a strong foundation. After completing his primary and secondary education, he pursued higher studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, graduating in 1980 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Honours. His passion for law led him to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, where he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981, marking the beginning of an illustrious legal career.

Chief Umeh’s career encompasses a diverse range of roles, from his early experiences at Umeh Brothers Trading Co. Limited and the Anambra State Ministry of Agriculture to serving as an Associate Counsel at Felix Chuks Okoye & Co., GRAYA CHAMBERS. Since 1985, he has been the Principal and Managing Counsel of Philip Ndubuisi Umeh & Co., Legal Practitioners & Notaries Public, thriving as a legal practitioner of international repute. His leadership extends beyond the courtroom, with active roles in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the International Bar Association (IBA), where he has served on the National Executive Committee and received numerous awards for his dedicated service.
